Wow, has July really come and gone? It’s been a busy month.
We celebrated Jamu’s birthday on the 4th with a lovely day at our new favourite beach in Castelldefels, 4.8km long of fine sand and clean water. Part of becoming a local for me involved buying proper beach towels and a sun umbrella.
Kendra was here from the 8th to 13th, we had all sorts of fun checking out Parc Guell, the “magic” fountains, hanging out at the beach, watching the World Cup and renting bikes to tour around the city.
July 16th, a rare weekend appearance of Jamu in town, we returned to the FORUM to catch The Wailers at Cruilla BCN. Far more hippie than hipster when compared to Primavera Sound. Catalan mullets and windmill dancing were the orders of the day.
Barbara was here from the 19th to 23rd, we walked all over the place, saw two films (one of which was shown in the garden at the Castle on Montjuic) , went to a night at the MACBA and also rented bikes to tour the city.
Between visitors I’ve been focused on getting course work done and working a little bit doing massage. Now onto to August and our adventures to be had in Vancouver
